Matt Nelson is a voiceover artist based out of New Brunswick, New Jersey. In his free time, he likes to play golf, go for runs and watch his favorite sports teams, such as the Philadelphia Eagles, Phillies and 76ers. He’s also a diehard NASCAR fan, which he also believes is a sport. His favorite movies include Coming to America, The Blind Side, the Harry Potter Series, Remember the Titans, 2012, Coach Carter, White House Down, and Disney animated movies, such as The Lion King, Beauty and the Beast, Aladdin, Tarzan and the Toy Story Series.

All his life, Matt wanted to use his voice as a way to catch someone’s attention. His past experience as a Play-by-Play Broadcaster and current experience as a Public Address Announcer create compelling projects that will showcase the message for his clients.

Matt’s trained voice is able to adapt to various tones, such as conversational, natural, snarky, warm and more. He’s also a good listener when it comes to client direction to produce quality voiceovers.

Matt has a Bachelor of Arts in Radio/TV/Film with a Minor in Journalism and a Concentration in Broadcast from Rowan University and an Associate of Arts degree from Mercer County Community College.

After realizing that his talents weren’t suited for Play-by-Play, Matt has found his calling as a PA Announcer having worked hundreds of games since he broke into the industry at the end of 2016. He’s known for announcing games all over the world with the Harlem Globetrotters. To learn more about his work in the sport industry, visit
